It is with great humility and excitement that I take over as the President of this reputed forum.
It goes without saying that these are challenging times. We are wrestling with the daily concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as ongoing challenges for women throughout our nation. The social, emotional and economic ramification of this crisis is undoubtedly taking their toll on our community and every single WIPS member. Though elected as new President, I am not a newcomer to this Forum, and hence, I can place on record that the resilience of the WIPS team, in the face of all these challenges has been striking.

In the future I will use this section, to share my thoughts and lay out strategies for moving forward; however, today I just wanted to use this space to say, “thank you.” Thank you for supporting one another.
We vibrant, dedicated and resilient WIPS members are fortunate to be a part of SCOPE, which strives to become more inspiring, innovative and impactful, and I have no doubt that we will get through this and build an even more prosperous future for all.
Let’s get to work Together and move forward.

You have come a long way since you created the Forum of Women in Public Sector 26 years ago for exchanging information, acquiring new knowledge, sharing experiences, increasing confidence and building networks. Your contribution to the Indian public sector is now well recognised. The success of the objectives of the forum will largely be dictated by your ability to create a system of outreach to all.
Technology developments have contributed enormously to managing speed, information and responses to changing market dynamics . Upgrading the WIPS Website with new features and functionalities will help you to enhance your reach. I would like to compliment all those who have been associated with this effort. Keep it up.
With best wishes

The Forum for women in Public Sector has grown from strength to strength . As a Network ,it has played a critical role in creating awareness & disseminating information about women's issues in the public sector. Networks succeed when they are not just functional but beneficial to all members . The challenge for the Forum , now, is to remain relevant to the changing times.

At the outset I would like to congratulate Ms Kirti Tiwari and her new team and wish them all success in their tenure.
The main strength of WIPS is its large network of women spanning across all PSU's. To be relevant in these times is to embrace technology with all its attendant features. Communication channels have been thrown open through social media and we find ourselves reconnecting to school friends, college pals and even family members spread across the globe.
Upgrading the website would in a large measure bring the WIPS network closer and be a vibrant platform. A two way communication would enhance the bonds and reach out to all the women spread in all corners of the country.
Wishing WIPS all success.
