Ms. Kirti Tiwari

Ms. Kirti Tiwari is working as Chief Manager (Civil) with Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited at Sambalpur(Odisha). She has done B.E. (Civil) from SGSITS Indore (M.P.) in 1985 and had worked with architect M/s Design Deco at Bhopal. She then joined TTTI Bhopal in research sector. She joined SECL in 1986 and transferred to MCL in 2017 . A Civil Engineer by profession, she has dealt in Monitoring of Civil Engineering Projects & Planning, Tenders, Contracts, Maintenance ,Contract Management and presently in Updation Cell of MCL.

She played a key role in the drive towards motivating female general mazdoors in semi-technical jobs by making them aware of their gainful utilization in the productive job in coalmines, workshops etc. This resulted in boosting their morale, self-confidence and efficiency. She and her team were honoured by SECL Management.

She strongly believes in Indian traditions and upliftment and empowerment of women. She is associated with the Forum of Women In Public Sector since inception at organization level , and has served in various capacities from Coordinator, President (Western Region) to Vice President & Gen. Secy. (APEX). A dynamic personality with high level of decision making, creativity and a keen sports person, she has represented her school at National and University level in Athletics and Basketball. Mrs. Mallika S Shetty

Mrs. Mallika S Shetty, Vice President, WIPS – APEX

Mallika is working as CM (P&S-Contracts) with Shipping Corporation of India Ltd., the largest National Shipping Company. She has done MBA in Human Resources. She also holds a degree in FICS and is a Fellow Member of the Narottam Morarjee Institute of Shipping.

She has been a part of the WIPS fraternity for many years and has served the forum in various capacities over the years such as Coordinator (from 2015 to 2019) for her organisation and EC member for Western Region before becoming Treasurer WR (2009-10), Secretary WR (2010-12), President WR (2012-14 and 2014-16) and presently elected as VP APEX (2018-20).

As WIPS Coordinator of SCI she has conducted various events and programmes for the benefit of women employees of SCI and won various accolades viz Best Enterprise awards in Regional as well as National Level.

She strongly believes in the welfare and education of girl child and is working towards their benefit in an attempt to give them bright future.

Ms. Anju Gupta

Ms. Anju Gupta is working as General Manager with MMTC Limited, New Delhi. She topped in her graduation in Mathematics from Lady Shri Ram College (LSR) and subsequently did her M.Phil in Operation Research, Delhi University. She is regular trainer for Induction Training to new appointees of MMTC. She does lot of counselling work wherein her erstwhile association with ‘Sanjivini’ (an NGO) comes handy. She has been part of ‘Sexual Harassment Committee’ of MMTC since last 15 years. She is also associated with ‘Core Cancer Foundation’ & has participated in Delhi half marathon 2007 under their banner.

She has been a part of the WIPS fraternity for many years and had attended the very first SCOPE initiative towards this forum held in 1989. She has served the forum in various capacities over the years such as Coordinator (from 2008 onwards) for her organisation and EC member for Northern Region before becoming Secretary of WIPS- Northern Region (twice between 2012-16). Her varied interests include music, dance, drama, reading, sports and travelling.
