From The Desk Of President-WR

With profound pride I would like to share with you that due to consistent sincere efforts of Western Region team, WIPS Western Region has performed very well in all the aspects. Participation of all the members in its activities and their united efforts are the main characteristics which make the Western Region so innovative and being ahead.

Women of the present era has crossed many milestones. But, I personally feel that still there are fields which do not recognise women. Our presence in Boards is still a matter of great concern. Keeping all these aspects in mind, we have chosen the theme of the Regional Meet as “Strong wings for Bold Dreams - Make it happen”.

I appreciate all the women for their concern for families and children, but at the same time I request all of you to break the glass ceiling and prove your existance. It is the time to
happily accept the help of our better half in sharing responsibility of the family. Dreaming bold to achieve the set targets is always better, instead of dreaming of being super women.

The days have gone when it was said “Abla Jeevan Hai Tumhari Yahi Kahani”. Now we are more empowered, more stronger and more confident as compared to earlier days, but still scope is there to improve our positions. We the women employees are 9.45% of total manpower and to come to 50-50 we have to travel a long distance.

The time has come when the risk to remain tight in the bud is more painful than the risk it takes to blossom. So, let us spread our wings and soar into the vast blue skies of progress, armed with our deepest commitment to the organisation.
